Environmental Science is a useful major for students and offers an interdisciplinary approach to the natural sciences with an emphasis on biology, chemistry, and geology. The Associate in Science in Environmental Science for Transfer program is designed for students who plan to complete a bachelor’s degree in a similar major at a CSU campus. To earn the Associate in Science in Environmental Science for Transfer program, students must complete a maximum of 60 required semester units of CSU-transferable coursework, including Cal-GETC requirements and 42 units within the major. Local graduation requirements are not required for the transfer degree. Students should consult with a counselor when planning to complete the degree for more information on university admission and transfer requirements. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0. Students must earn a C (or 'P') or better in all courses required for the major.
