Associate in Arts (AA-T) Degree for Transfer
2023 Fall Semester

An Associate in Arts in Social Work and Human Services for Transfer degree, is designed for students who plan to complete a Bachelor's degree in a similar major at a CSU campus. The degree will acquaint students with the fundamentals of the human services system and the profession of Social Work, including introduction to the theories, principles, and values on which human services are offered and social work is practiced in the United States. To earn the Associate of Arts in Social Work/Human Services for Transfer, students must complete at least 60 required semester units of CSU-transferable coursework, including either the CSU-GE Breadth or IGETC requirements, and at least 18 units within the major. Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA, including grades of C (or 'P') or higher in each course taken to fulfill the major. Local graduation requirements are not necessary to complete the transfer degree. Students should consult with a knowledgeable academic counselor for more information on transfer requirements and university admission.
